Stargate's Gateway was down for approx. 10Minutes.
The Reason was an automated Update of the Libc6 which failed, forcing the system to run from a stripped down ramdisk to provide at least limited accessibility to the internal systems. Most of the time of these 10Minutes downtime where due to the last mirror/full/incremental backups to be replayed in order to provide a running system.

To prevent such long outages in the future, a dedicated CF-Card has been put into place having always the latest running version on it - so it's a matter of replacing the CF-Card and powering up the system again - to have all services restored.

It's always nice to see that the backup system choosen is working flawlessly - especially the used strategy. Saves lots of time !
