Desweiteren sind sie, im Gegensatz zu Radio und TV, im normalen (Geschaefts-)Leben unverzichtbar geworden. Teilweise ist ihre Benutzung sogar von staatlicher Seite vorgegeben (z.B. Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung).

 Seit dem 1. Januar 2007 sind fuer Personal Computer die Rundfunkgebuehren zu entrichten. Die Oeffentlich-Rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten handeln hier strickt nach dem Rundfunkgebuehrenstaatsvertrag, welcher die Gebuehr für die PCs festlegt.

Der Gesetzgeber hat es bis heute jedoch versaeumt, die rechtlichen Voraussetzungen dafuer zu schaffen, damit diese Gebuehr mit den Grundgesetzen konform ist.

Auf dieser Webseite ist meine Klage gegen die Erhebung von Rundfunkgebuehren auf einen gewerblich genutzten Personal Computer dokumentiert.

 The xp-AntiSpy is a little utility that lets you disable some built-in update and authentication 'features' in WindowsXP. For example, there's a service running in the background which is called 'Automatic Updates'. I don't know what this service transfers from my machine to other machines on the internet, especially the MS ones. So I play it safe and disable such functions. If you like, you can even disable these functions manually, by going through the System and checking or unchecking some checkboxes. This will take you approximately half an hour. But why wast time when a little neat utility can do the same in 1 minute? This utility was successfully tested by lots of users, and was found to disable all the known 'Suspicious' Functions in WindowsXP. It's customiseable, but comes up with the Default settings, which are recommended. This utility is DONATIONWARE! This means, you don't have to pay anything for this program and you can give it to anyone who's interested in it, as long as you don't sell it. If you find this tool useful, and wanna gimme something back, think about donating a small amount of money.

 Der OpenSourceSoftware-Marketplace bietet das erste Release der Marketplace eigenen OpenSource Software DVD für Windows-Betriebssysteme an. Die Software-Distribution gliedert sich in die Bereiche Office, Grafik, Kommunikation, Tools und Multimedia.

Die einzelnen Kategorien decken u. a. mit dem Office Paket OpenOffice.org, der Photoshop Alternative Gimp und dem Webbrowser Firefox neben dem privaten auch durchaus den gewerblichen Anwenderbereich ab. Die Installation der einzelnen Komponenten erfolgt über einen menügesteuerten Assistenten, sodass auch Einsteiger recht komfortabel ihre Anwendungen einrichten können.

Die OSS Marketplace DVD richtet sich an Anwender, die auf Ihren Computer eine vollständige Office-Umgebung einrichten möchten und dabei auf eine OpenSource Produktpalette zurückgreifen möchten. Mit Hilfe dieses Angebotes wird der Computer zu einem umfangreich ausgestatteten Office Computer, der auf teure Anwendungslizenzen verzichten kann.
 

 Das Projekt Advolux ist im Sommer 2003 aus der Zusammenarbeit der Rechtsanwälte Arne Stocker, Jörg Schoof und Axel Fachtan entstanden, die sich seit ihrer gemeinsamen Studienzeit in den 90er Jahren an der Freien Universität Berlin kennen und nach Abschluss des Referendariats 1996 bzw. 1997 zur Rechtsanwaltschaft zugelassen wurden.

Die Programmentwicklung baut auf den noch aus der Referendariatszeit stammenden Überlegungen über den Einsatz von Software in einer Anwaltskanzlei auf. Unsere seitdem gewonnenen (positiven wie negativen) Erfahrungen mit anderen Produkten sind in das Projekt eingeflossen.

Advolux wurde erstmalig im Sommer 2004 bei insgesamt vier Pilotkanzleien (und natürlich in den Kanzleien der Gründungsgesellschafter) installiert und ist seitdem ununterbrochen im Einsatz. Seit dieser Zeit wurde Advolux unter Einbeziehung der im Kanzleialltag gewonnenen Erfahrungen ständig weiterentwickelt und ergänzt. Nachdem die Entwicklung von Advolux bereits im Sommer 2006 weitestgehend abgeschlossen war, gründeten die drei Initiatoren im September 2006 die nunmehr für den Service und den Vertrieb zuständige Advolux GmbH. Seit dem 01. März 2007 ist die Release – Version (1.004) von Advolux frei auf dem Markt erhältlich.

The goals of rpm2html are also to identify the dependencies between various packages and to find the package(s) providing the resources needed to install a given package. Every package is analyzed to retrieve its dependencies and the resources it offers. These relationships are expressed using hyperlinks in the generated pages. Finding the package providing the resource you need is just a matter of a few clicks!
 

 Clonezilla, based on DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, and udpcast, allows you to do bare metal backup and recovery. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla server edition. Clonezilla live is suitable for single machine backup and restore. While Clonezilla server edition is for massive deployment, it can clone many (40 plus!) computers simultaneously. Clonezilla saves and restores only used blocks in the harddisk. This increases the clone efficiency. At the NCHC's Classroom C, Clonezilla server edition was used to clone 41 computers simultaneously. It took only about 10 minutes to clone a 5.6 GBytes system image to all 41 computers via multicasting!
