  Comment on Model

As the equipment that was put in is quite lighter than the one from Team Blacksheep, I had to add some 45g of lead in the front (Just behind the GoPro box) to have a correct CG at 140mm (it is supposed to be between 135 and 145). From the Forums I have found out that the optimum CG is actually 135mm. Reason it had to be so much lead.
The first flight went quite well. A little bit of trimming made the bird fly steady (while steady is not the right word, with side wind of around 25Km/h). But the GoPro made some gorgeous videos. A Friend was following me and took some videos of the CaiPi - One snapshot of the video can be seen in this presentation page.

I for myself also made some video footage during the flights. One short version can be seen here

Main issue with this plane, is the start-phase. You have to throw it, and if it is not thrown correctly, it crashes into the ground. Last flight was one of these moments with lots of wind, where it start-crashed. No time to react, from the hand straight to the ground. Dunno if I'll recover it or if I don't get myself another replacement to use the hardware on it.

Due to some hard landings and some hard starts, the canopy holding the GoPro has been ripped of with parts of the fuselage. Sadly, this is not reparable anymore.
