FPV Racer update |

As I was not very happy with my FPV Racer stability (and most racers would tell me - configure your PID's), I gave the firmware of the GR-18 Receiver (which has gyro, accel and air-pressure sensor) a try. I was using it in one of my airplanes, but all the auto-stabilization capability was unused.
And - I have to say - no configuration and it flies stable as nailed into the air. I never expected it to be so stable at all in the beginning.
Full size pictures can be seen here: Side View and Top down View
Note that the Video equipment was taken from the old Drone. I also managed to get some unbreakable props, and some 1.3Ah 45-90C LiPo batteries for that purpose. I added a Skyzone google for the FPV Racing which takes place nearly every second week-end with a couple friends.
A little video I made with the onboard Moebius Cam - but the site requires Flashplayer and has some limitations I don't like.
Second video on Youtube: common training session
